The Star of David, also known as the Megan David or the Shield of David, is a generally recognized as a symbol of both Jewish Identity and Judaism. It’s shape is a hexagram, composed of two hexagrams, representing so as above as so below. The Star of David is a derivation of the Seal of Solomon which was used for decorative and mystical purposes by the Jewish people and now used as a symbol on the Israeli flag.
